Meet The Doctor
Stephen H. Moore, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Moore is a native of Williamstown, WV. He attended college at Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH where he majored in biology and philosophy. Dr. Moore graduated with a B.A. degree in 1995. While at Wittenberg, he was a four-year letterman on the football team and served as a team captain his senior year. Dr. Moore then graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1999 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. Following graduation, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D.) residency. Dr. Moore completed his Master of Science (M.S.) degree and specialty training certificate in endodontics at West Virginia University in 2002. While at W.V.U., Dr. Moore’s research was primarily in the areas of pain management and pharmacology in endodontics.
Dr. Moore is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is highly trained in microscopic endodontics as well as endodontic microsurgery. Dr. Moore incorporates the latest techniques in instrumentation, disinfection, and canal obturation into his practice. He maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Ohio Dental Association, and the Ohio Association of Endodontists. Dr. Moore is also very active and is an executive officer in the Akron Dental Society.
Dr. Moore and his wife, Laurice, are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters: Emma and Elizabeth. Dr. Moore enjoys playing bass guitar, outdoor activities, sports and having fun with his family in his free time.
